We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Retrofit Programme Manager to permanently join our expanding Sustainability team. 

This is an exciting time to join us and help us achieve our mission of investing in people and places to build a stronger, more sustainable future. 

This is a pivotal role to oversee and manage the Group's Retrofit Programme and energy efficiency enhancement projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 guidance and adhering to Whole House principles throughout the project lifecycle. 

This dynamic role will entail managing large-scale building refurbishment projects within specified timelines and budgets, as well as nurturing positive contractor relationships. Additionally, you'll provide support to the Head of Sustainability and offer leadership to the retrofit team. 

If you are highly motivated with exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring the team and building strong connections with both contractors and customers, we would love to hear from you! 

Some things we are looking for: 

  • Experience of managing Retrofit projects ensuring works are delivered to a high standard 

  • Experience of contractor management 

  • Proven experience of delivering medium and large-scale building refurbishment programmes on time and to budget 

  • Excellent knowledge of energy efficiency measures, PAS 2035, TrustMark and Whole House Retrofit 

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety & building regulations 

  • Good working knowledge of sustainability, energy and zero carbon in relation to the built environment 

  • Level 5 Diploma Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management or be willing to gain qualification in post. 

While this position is home-based, you must be able to travel to Group offices for meetings and to various locations across our properties for inspections as needed. The anticipated travel frequency is twice a week.
