We are currently looking for an experienced HR Administrator/Assistant to join our dynamic Employee Relations and Wellbeing team. This is an exciting time to be part of our expanding team, playing a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a comprehensive employee relations service.

In this role, you'll be helping managers and colleagues across the Group with employment and wellbeing issues, making sure everything aligns with our Group’s Policies and Procedures.

Some of your daily tasks will include:  

  • Provide accurate and timely advice to managers and colleagues Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practice, escalating more complex issues to the ER Specialists. 
  • Assisting managers with stage one absence meetings, and non-complex investigations, grievances, and disciplinary meetings, including co-ordinating relevant meetings and associated paperwork in collaboration with respective managers and/or chairs and ER specialists
  • Assist ER Specialist with complex ER Investigations including note taking and collation and preparation of materials in relation to case work
  • Accurately maintaining employee records and ensuring changes are communicated to Payroll and coordinating the associated correspondence to colleagues
  • Organise sickness absence reports and work collaboratively with ER Specialist where action is needed

Some of the things we are looking for:   

  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or HR support role is essential, with exposure to employee relations activities
  • Experience of co-ordinating meetings, managing documentation, and providing administrative assistance in a professional setting. letters and correspondence
  • Experience of input and administration within a corporate computer system 
  • Excellent ICT skills (Word, Excel) with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in administration and system work 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, in individual or group situations
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience of maintaining employee records in line with payroll cycle

While this role is home-based, you must be able to travel to our Group offices 2-3 times a month or as needed. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester.
