Join Our Team as an Information Governance Business Partner

We are currently looking for an experienced Information Governance Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is a key role to support the Governance and Assurance team to ensure the Group’s data and information is managed securely and compliantly.

As a trusted business partner and critical friend, you will work closely with teams across the Group to take a preventative approach and be pivotal in delivering a proactive programme of information governance projects, audits, and tasks.

Some of the things we are looking for:   

  • A Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection or Freedom of Information and/or around 3 years experience in an information governance role
  • Demonstrable experience in an Information Governance role, such as Data Protection, Freedom of Information, or Records Management
  • Proven experience of managing corporate relationships and working collaboratively across teams.
  • Proven experience of responding to customer’s Data Rights
  • Experience of supporting data protection impact assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices approximately one day per week.
