Calling all Grounds Maintenance Operatives in Worcester!    

Platform Property Care has a permanent position for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Grounds Maintenance Team based in Worcester covering our Estates and communities in Worcestershire.  This is an ideal role for someone who loves working outdoors and creating great looking environments for our customers.    

What could you be doing?  

You will be responsible for looking after the green areas in and around our estates. Your duties will include tractor and pedestrian grass maintenance, brush cutting/ strimming, hedge cutting, shrub pruning, planting, weeding, and litter picking.

Some things we need from you:  

  • You’ll be motivated and passionate about making a difference to our external landscape   
  • You’ll have a full UK driving licence – this is essential as it is a mobile role  
  • You will need to live within commutable distance of our Blackpole, Worcester depot.
  • You will really enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions   
  • You’ll have a good Health & Safety knowledge   
  • And have some relevant grounds maintenance/ gardening/horticultural skills, experience, or qualifications   

The working pattern for this role is a permanent annualised contract:    

Summer (March – November) 42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday   

Winter (December – February) 32.5 hours a week Monday to Friday

*£26,883 is made up of your base salary of £26,319 per annum and an additional payment of £564 per annum.

This role is mobile, so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.
